Last Saturday (July 25, 2009), LTWC released this young bald eagle, who had recovered from an injured wing. Tom Millham of LTWC is handling the eagle with a pair of raptor-handling gloves so that she can't bite or claw him, despite her best efforts.

Great photos! After seeing her 'training' during the reunion, I bet she was suprised when she was launched and could keep going! I would have loved to seen her face and read her thoughts at that moment!
Great job LTWC! Bet that is one that you won't miss Tom! Great job again!! You all are awesome in all that you do! I am so happy to be a small part of this great family.
